Description

This is a smallish pastel done on fine quality pastel paper. It is a scene I saw daily for a year, watching the iris bloom and fade in their place at the edges of a lily and koi pond in Mexico. This is a rendering of what I saw done in a loose impressionist way, attempting to capturing light and movement reflection offf the water.
