Description
This is one of a six part series of pastel abstracted field flowerscapes. Each has had a specific inspiration of a place I have love being in ..This one expresses my love of field flowers, masses of them all around , coming out in spring to fall. This was done spontaneously in two work sessions. It gives the feeling of field flowers becoming birds in flight. It has been a popular print in small to wall size. It prints well on paper and on matte canvas. Avoid glossy canvas for this image.

I'm not usually into contemporary art, but I love this! To me it expresses the freedom in nature and the transitory nature of each day. It seems the flowers give no thought to being noticed. They are content to simply be themselves, seen or not, and take flight when they wish, as do the birds. Nice description too.

Thank you very much Michael for your wonderful comment. This was actually printed in wall size by the manager of the lab that first worked with it as a print, for his home. Two didn't finish so he gave them to me, and yes, they were something. I plan to give them to a hospital.
